Surf Courses
At Nordsø Camping & Badeland we welcome surfers all year round, whether you live in a holiday cabin, a tent, or a camper.
Hvide Sande is a great area for surfers who want to go windsurfing, kitesurfing, and paddelsurfing.
There are numerous opportunities for surfing in the environs. Hvide Sande is for windsurfers, kite surfers and paddelsurfere wishing to challenge the sea waves, and typically it takes place off the beach immediately below the campsite. Here is a fantastic opportunity for experienced surfers to try the waves. Surfing the waves takes place in western wind directions and especially in northwestern wind directions. On very windy days, the waves will reach a height of several meters.
At Ringkøbing Fjord, there are numerous opportunities for windsurfing and kite surfing, and it is possible to find an area to surf in regardless of the wind direction. It is also possible join a surf school in either Hvide Sande or at Bork Havn. The fjord is generally very shallow and therefore offers particularly good conditions for beginners of all ages.
