Sand Sculpture Festival
Also in 2012 some of the world's best sand sculptors from various nations will meet in Søndervig by Ringkøbing to give a sample of their special abilities within sand art. This year the theme is The Mysteries of Egypt.
The sculptors are a number of artists who in periods have made it their career to travel around the world to create their works in the sand, so they are really professionals.
There will be opportunity for children and adults together to test their abilities as sand sculptors in the big sandbox with a special sculptor sand available on the festival site.
