WATERZ
World Competition in Hvide Sande
International and Danish windsurfers, freestyle wakeboarders, and kite surfers will be gathered at for a competition on Ringkøbing Fjord.
On September 10 -12, 2010 "WATERZ", the first international water board sports event on Danish ground will be held. The competition will take place in and around the ”Aqua Sports Zone" in Hvide Sande on Ringkøbing Fjord. During the weekend the participants will be competing in freestyle cable wakeboarding, and there will be a gigantic " Down wind race " for windsurfers and kite surfers, and a Stand Up Paddle (SUP) race as well.
The organizers of "WATERZ" inform that Hvide Sande – which is already known as the water sports mecca – promise a colourful event, and that in parallel with the main events there will be plenty of activities where the interested can try surfing in the waves, try out surf kayaking or kayaking polo, as well as the worlds most fastest growing water sport board discipline, Stand Up Paddle (SUP) race, in the port basin.
