Fishing in Hvide Sande
Blue fishing boats, screaming seagulls and fresh fish mark the picture on the harbour in Hvide Sande. The fishing harbour with the many blue fishing boats has as closest neighbours the Auction Hall and the Hvide Sande Ice Company. This is the city nerve. It can hardly be more authentic. You are close to the Hvide Sande everyday life.
Camping in the first row of dunes
Authentic West Coast feeling by the sea and the dunes! Enjoy your holiday between the West Coast and the inlet of Ringkøbing, on the small isthmus Holmsland Klit, south of Hvide Sande. Litterally, you wake up in the middle of the dune landscape, and the view over the dunes is magnificent.

Birdwatching
Visit the Tipperne Bird Reserve every Sunday – ask for binoculars in the reception.
For nature lovers and bird friends the Tipperne peninsula south of Nords Camping is a pure paradise. Depending on the season you can always find interesting birds to watch, and the area offers excellent opportunities for bird watching from observation towers, paths and roads.
The area is internationally known and one of Northern Europe's most important bird reserves - hence the name "World's busiest airport - for birds".
We are now on the Tipperne peninsula, just south of Nordsø Camping at Hvide Sande, prepared to observe birds in the Tipperne reserve. We have a few hours bird watching in front of us. With us is the nature guide from the North Sea Camping.
